Magali gave me money as a present. I used this money to buy a Russian Tortoise. He lives in a glass aquarium with straw, a coconut water dish, a cover for him to hind in and a sun lamp. We keep the lamp on during the day to help keep him healthy and his shell hard.
This was one of the few times that he's made it outside, but after this outing, we are going to bring him out more often. He was scooting around the yard and eating most of what I was giving to him. Exercise is good!
What makes my turtle so special is that he is not afraid of much as long as my movements towards him are slow and easy. Very seldom, if ever, does he hide in his shell. Just like me, he is outgoing and friendly!
